Exploring the Vineyard Trail in the Malvern Hills
Colwall
Established in 2018, the Two Beacons vineyard is a family-owned, single vineyard plot, nestled between its namesakes, the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Beacons, in the Malvern Hills National Landscape (AONB).
In creating our vineyard, it was important to us not only to preserve, but to foster the local flora and fauna, with minimal negative environmental impact.
Our warm, south-facing location with its surrounding native trees and shrubs provide a home to local wildlife, as do the grasses and flowers in the alleys of our vine rows.
Nearby trees and boundary hedgerows are home to white throats, blackcaps and goldfinches. Swifts, swallows and house martins can be seen in the skies above.
We also provide habitat for many different insects. Grasshoppers, dragonflies and damselflies can be found among the vine rows, along with bees collecting the nectar of the white clover flowers and other wild flowers we encourage to grow throughout the Estate.

Welland
The vineyard’s owner, Jeremy, is committed to growing the very best grapes that the weather gods allow. He relishes the challenge to manage a vineyard with minimal environmental impact, and the vineyard is surrounded by grasses, native tree species and wildflowers to host beneficial insects and support biodiversity. With his background in agricultural supplies and international rugby, Jeremy is as keen to try new ideas as to score tries. Together with his wife Debs, they will take you from bud to bunch in their grape growing techniques on their vineyard tour. The first vintage has already been awarded a gold medal, with ongoing improvements are underway.

Bromesberrow
This well established vineyard was first planted in 2006 with a mix of Rondo, Regent and Bacchus grapes which have thrived in the light well drained sandy soils of Bromesberrow in Gloucestershire and benefiting from the unique Malvern Hills microclimate. It is owned and managed by Rufus and Elizabeth from Hatch Farm next door with the help of family members and a host of others. From the outset the grapes produced have all been sent to Three Choirs in nearby Newent which is one of the most highly regarded wine producers in England. They convert our grapes into delicious red, rose and white still wines to our specification and they also provide us with a delightful dry white Sparkling wine. The result is a select range of mouth wateringly refreshing English wines of the highest quality produced to the highest standards.

Tours, Tastings & Shop
We grow Rondo, Regent, and Bacchus grapes in almost equal numbers of vines. Our main products are Bacchus (a still dry white wine), Red Fox (a dry light red wine) and Chase Blush (a dry still rose). We can also offer a dry Sparkling white wine.
We have limited facilities but can offer tours, tasting and a shop. Pets are welcome but need to be on a lead in case they escape. The vineyard is not dog secure!
